Au cours d’un communiqué publié hier soir sur les forums du jeu, les développeurs ont annoncé que la saison 4 PvP de BFA débutera ce 22 janvier en Europe.
Outre cette date de sortie, quelques autres informations nous ont été données :
- La saison 3 s’achèvera le 15 janvier.
- La saison 4 apportera son lot de nouveautés en jeu (nouvel affixe corrompu ou amélioration des récompenses pour les clés Mythique +15 par exemple).
- Le 15 janvier aura lieu une maintenance pendant laquelle le Mythique + et les compétitions PvP prendront fin. Une hors-saison durera alors 1 semaine (pour ces activités).
- Durant ce hors-saison, le Mythique+ (ses affixes ainsi que les récompenses de la Saison 3) sera toujours jouable mais les hauts-fait saisonniers qui en sont liés ne le seront plus. Vous pourrez vous inscrire en file d’attente pour le JcJ côté en rapport à votre classement de la Saison 3, mais les récompenses et titres seront indisponibles.
De plus, les hauts-faits liés au Palais Éternel d’Azshara (comme
Une longueur d’avance : reine Azshara ou Du grand art : Reine Azshara demandant de vaincre le boss final) seront toujours réalisables avant le déploiement du prochain palier de raid. - Lors d’un précédent article, je déclarais que Blizzard avait déployé un correctif dans le but de reprendre la Saison 3 de BFA.
En réalité, entre la période ou le bug était en activité et ou le correctif est sortit, certains joueurs ont continué leur progression afin d’avoir de meilleures récompenses. Cependant, lorsque la saison a repris, ces nouvelles récompenses n’apparaissaient pas. - Ce souci est actuellement en résolution par les développeurs qui comptent déployer un nouveau correctif. En effet, les joueurs ayant obtenu la côte JcJ appropriée pour un titre de la Saison 3 de BFA (alors que cette même saison s’était arrêtée) mais qui ont rechuté en-dessous de la côte demandée avant la réactivation de la saison devraient pouvoir obtenir ce titre pendant leur première connexion suite à la réinitialisation hebdomadaire (qui aura lieu le 8 janvier).

Battle for Azeroth Season 3 will end with the launch of Visions of N’Zoth. When maintenance begins early on January 14, both PvP and Mythic Keystone competition will close, and a one-week off-season for those activities will begin.During the off-season, Mythic Keystone dungeons will still be playable using Season 3 affixes and rewards, but their seasonal achievements will no longer be available. Additionally, it will still be possible to queue for Rated PvP based on your Season 3 rating, but titles and associated rewards will no longer be earnable. The end-of-season rankings will close when Visions of N’Zoth goes live.As always, we ask that competitive players refrain from transferring character(s) to another realm or faction until after BFA Season 4 has begun.
BFA Season 4 will begin one week after the content update, along with the opening of Ny’alotha, a new seasonal affix for Mythic Keystone dungeons, and the availability of higher item-level Azerite gear.Additionally, Azshara’s Eternal Palace raid achievements such as Ahead of the Curve and Cutting Edge will be obtainable throughout the off-season. You can continue to earn both of them right up until Ny’alotha opens.

As we previously noted 4, a bug on December 31 caused Season 3 to unexpectedly end for Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds. We were able to fix the issue early on January 3, and the fix retained rating changes and tier updates that were obtained by players during the unexpected off-season.During the time between the bug and the fix, a small number of players advanced to a rating that provides a meaningful reward, and then have not seen that reflected in-game in the resumed Season. To address this, we’re deploying a hotfix:
Players who earned the appropriate PvP rating for a BFA Season 3 title while the season was inactive, but then dropped below the required rating before the season could be reactivated, should earn that title when first logging in after the weekly reset.
In this region, the weekly reset occurs tomorrow morning (Tuesday, January 7).Furthermore, there is one more full week to go until Season 3 ends. Good luck out there as you push for the finish!
